Community Cupboard 

The need for food continues. Please share what you can. Check the list in the basket at the back of the church.

Wednesday Morning Communion 

St. Marks in Qualicum offers Communion every Wednesday between 11:30 and 12:00. The service is quiet and reflective. If you are interested in attending speak to others and see if there is a possibility of carpooling.  

Grounds Cleanup and Building Maintenance

If you have some time to donate to help take care of the grounds and/or building please check with Nathan.  Many hands make light work.

Music for Services 

We thank all who participate each week to bring special music.  

Tuesday Prayer Group

Were you aware that a group meets every Tuesday evening to pray? This group is open to any who want to meet for prayer.

They do want to let the church know that they will be taking some time off August 20th,27th and September 3rd.

Special Request:

The local NeighbourLink group is looking for someone to co-ordinate volunteers for the various schools that provide breakfast during the school year. If you are interested in taking on this very important task, please contact Geerry.

Just a reminder of the coming services of Communion 

Update on Bishop Kathy

Bishop Kathy underwent surgery July 24th. The surgery went well. Bishop Kathy is now on medical leave. 
While Bishop Kathy recovers, Pastor Matthew Senf and the BC Synod Staff, with the support of the Synod Council Executive, will continue the work of the church.  
Please keep holding Bishop Kathy in your prayers.
