Hello Trinity Anglican + Lutheran Church

I am very happy to be in ministry with you for the next 6 months.  Over this time, we will take a look at who we are and where we want to go from here.  

I am quarter time which will works out to be two Saturdays and two Sundays a month.  I will be available by email 

shermanson@bc.anglican.ca or by cell phone 250-755-9596.  Please don't hesitate to contact me.  

I have been retired for 3 years now but I continue to help out by doing Sunday supply and interim appointments as required.  

I have lived and worked in this region since 2011.  And been ordained priest for 25 years.   

I started my ministry in the Diocese of Saskatoon where I was in rural ministry and then Dean of St John Cathedral.  From there I was parish priest in Williams Lake and then in the Nanaimo area.  I worked as a drug and alcohol counselor for a year then went back into parish ministry at St John, Ladysmith and St Philip, Cedar.  I have also done several interim appointments and Sunday supply in the area.  

I love crafts and currently I'm working on a quilt and a knitting a sweater.  I also swim for exercise and love camping and the outdoors in the summer.  

I will be with you the following Saturday and Sundays.  On the Saturdays I would love to meet with you and I hope to hold meetings and do pastoral care.  On Sundays I will worship with you and we will celebrate the Eucharist.
