A New Bishop's Chair

Pamela and I have just returned today with the  new-to-us Bishops chair.  This chair is from 1949 and is solid oak and remains in very good condition over-all. Our existing chair was beginning to delaminate and was originally made from laminated plywood with oak veneer. The veneer has begun to loosen and parts of the chair (handles and seat edges) were showing the plywood.  We are grateful to receive this chair today from Mark Oldnall, buildings and cemeteries advisor for the Diocese.
