Announcements for July 21st

Good morning Trinity Family

The food donations for our cupboard outside the church make a positive impact for those in need. Through the efforts of the members of Trinity and also of people from the community, we are able to provide food for our cupboard.

We are a blessed congregation. As such we can minister to those in need. We do so by making donations of food regularly.  We will continue to use the money raised from the luncheon and fashion show and garage sale, as well as individual donations, to purchase food for this ministry.

What is our church ministry?

People in our church community take the time to help out to serve and support our church. We are so grateful to the people in our congregation who are active in the various Church Ministries. These ministries are varied and cover a wide spectrum.

Just some examples:

Leading worship, serving on church council, working in the office, singing in the choir, organizing teas, luncheons, and special events. Taking care of the church grounds and upkeep of our two buildings, updating our website, music for Sunday service, Those who look after the donations, ladies of the altar guild, and more. It is important to note that church ministry is not just a job, but a calling from God.

This week we welcome Rev. Rob Hutchison who will preside over a Communion service.

We are thankful for David and Nathan and Jennifer for the music, the ushers, and of course the ladies in the kitchen who will be providing fresh tea and coffee, not to mention the goodies.

If you can lend a hand, please connect with anyone on council.

Pamela is on the mend.  Bishop Kathy reports that she is still waiting for tests but is now working from home. Please keep these ladies in your prayers as well as all who are unable to come to church.

REMINDERS:

A reminder that St. Marks in Qualicum offers Communion every Wednesday between 11:30 and 12:00. The service is quiet and reflective. If you are interested in attending speak to others and see if there is a possibility of carpooling.

    Coming up:

July 28th  Julie will be the lay minister.

Aug. 25th Communion service with Rev. Susan Hermanson
